Metric Options: Counts1 Year3 YearSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Article Description
A quantum-statistical theory of the low-temperature behavior of Josephson junctions with very small capacitance C and quasiparticle conductivity G, driven by a small current I(t), is developed. In such junctions the "secondary" quantum macroscopic effects (tunneling and interference) are significant for all values of the Josephson phase difference φ{symbol}, so that new features in the junction dynamics arise, including quantum "Bloch-wave" oscillations. Here the junction dynamics is analyzed in detail starting from a simple macroscopic Hamiltonian. The simplest way to analyze the Bloch-wave oscillations turns out to be a Langevin-type equation for the operator of the junction "quasicharge"q. In particular, this equation shows that the frequency f of these oscillations is related by the fundamental equation {Mathematical expression} to the dc current {Mathematical expression} and voltage {Mathematical expression}. The main effects suppressing or masking the Bloch-wave oscillations can be analyzed using the equation for the density matrix of the system traced over the states of the quasiparticles. This analysis has made it possible to establish the main conditions for the experimental observation of the predicted effects and to present a general picture of the low temperature dynamics of Josephson junctions. © 1985 Plenum Publishing Corporation.
