Metric Options: CountsSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Review Description
The corona pandemic, the political decisions made in this context, and the consequences have particularly affected children and adolescents and raised numerous ethical challenges and questions. A relatively low primary disease burden contrasts with significant secondary, psychological, physical, and social consequences for children and adolescents. These particularly affect children in special circumstances and with pre-existing risk constellations. The needs and rights of children and adolescents have been challenged at times. Pre-existing inequalities have been reinforced. From an ethical perspective the unequal burden placed on children as well as the effectiveness and appropriateness of the measures taken raise numerous questions. Ethical criteria such as vulnerability and children’s rights, as well as issues of responsibility, justice and solidarity, give rise to critical reflections. The manifold and persistent burden as well as the great solidarity of children and adolescents require sustainable measures. These must include in a collaborative effort, the recognition and acknowledgement of the consequences and the appropriate acceptance of responsibility.
