Metric Options: CountsSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Article Description
1,4-Diiodobenzenes bearing oligo-ethylene glycols [IRCH IR, R = OCHCHOCH (1a), O(CH CHO)CH (1b), O(CH CHO)CH (1c)] were polymerized with 1,4-diethynylbenzene in the presence of Pd/Cu catalyst to afford poly(p-phenyleneethynylene)s bearing oligo-ethylene glycols (2a-c), respectively. Polymer 2a was insoluble in any solvents, but the other polymers (2b, 2c) were soluble in CHCl. The weight-average molecular weights of 2b and 2c were 5.4 × 10 and 9.6 × 10, respectively, and they gave free-standing membranes by solution-casting method. The densities of membranes of 2b and 2c were 1.26 and 1.22 g/cm, respectively, and their carbon dioxide permeability coefficients were 12.9 and 13.5 barrers, respectively. The CO/N separation factor of membrane of 2b was as large as 33.7. Membrane of 3b, which contains triethylene glycols, exhibited higher CO permselectivity, and the CO/N separation factor was 50.0. © 2010 Springer-Verlag.
