Metric Options: CountsSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Article Description
Teaching analytics (TA) is concerned with the use of analytical techniques to the learning-teaching process, the quality of the classroom environment, and the effectiveness of teaching methods used to improve student learning. The purpose of this study is to map (1) distribution of citations and publications by years (2) the most influential authors, sources, organizations and countries (3) collaboration models (4) keywords, words in the abstract and subjects (5) methods, data collection tools and data analysis methods (6) purposes, topics, variables and samples, used in teaching analytics research over 20 years. In this study, a “mixed-methods systematic review” combining quantitative and qualitative synthesis approaches was used. It has been seen that the most prolific countries in the field of TA are the USA and Estonia, while the Tallinn University of Technology in Estonia and the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne University in Switzerland play an important role in the field. Prieto LP., Rodriguez-Triana M.J. and Dillenbourg P. were determined to be the most prolific writers in this field. When the studies were examined on a context-based basis, it was seen that they were carried out within the framework of general purposes such as Designing/Developing Teaching Analytics Dashboard/System, Evaluation of Teaching Activities.
