Metric Options: Counts1 Year3 YearSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Article Description
In this work, a defect cavity layered Bragg reflector structure is proposed theoretically to find the presence of diabetes in the given sample. The modelling, design and analysis of the sensor is performed using the characteristic matrix method. The proposed structure has central defect cavity with 6 pairs of low–high refractive index (RI) regions on either side of cavity. To enhance the sensor sensitivity, the input incident light has a frequency in mid-infrared range. The RI of normal and diabetic patient’s urine glucose concentration is analysed to get performance of the sensor. MATLAB tool is used to design and simulate the proposed sensor. Novelty of the proposed structure includes use of simple 1D PC with very high sensitivity and Q factor. The obtained Q factor is 2898 and that of sensitivity is 4700 nm/RIU. The sensor proposed here is a best choice of optical sensor for the diabetes detection in the given test sample for accurate analysis in medical applications.
