Article Description
Since treatment of chronic hepatitis C with novel direct-acting antivirals (DAA) leads to a sustained virological response (SVR) in almost all patients, the main focus of treatment has shifted to elimination projects and follow-up of patients cured from hepatitis C virus infection. In this review article, recent studies and recommendations regarding follow-up after hepatitis C virus eradication are summarized to provide readers with a guidance for clinical practice.
