Metric Options: CountsSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Book Chapter Description
Layered double hydroxides (LDHs) are prepared by crystallizing of metal hydroxides in the form of mineral brucite with the insertion of interlayer anionic species. These compounds, with peculiar properties such as high chemical stability, biocompatibility, anion exchange capacity, and nontoxicity, are promising candidates for the preparation of polymer nanofiller hybrid composites. Recent studies have shown that the potential performance of LDH can be significantly improved by supporting/combining it with high-surface-area materials such as carbonaceous nanomaterials. Polymer/LDH/carbonaceous nanofiller hybrid nanocomposites, due to the special method of fabrication and characterization, as well as capacity development of new composite materials, have enticed enormous interest from industries and academic areas. This chapter deals with the most current progresses in the incorporation of LDHs and modified LDHs with carbonaceous nanomaterials in the extensive groups of polymers as matrix, through the approaches for inspecting the structural characteristics and chemical functionalization for various utilizations.
