Metric Options: CountsSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Book Chapter Description
Environmental pollution created through the linear economy is self-evident. Thus, to meet the human needs, conversion of excessively generated agro-industrial waste into various value-added product (VAP) like biofuels, bioenergy, and biopolymers through the circular economy is a suitable choice. Here, we emphasize on biopolymer production using various sources of agro-industrial waste; in particular biopolymers used as bioflocculants are the focus of this chapter. Moreover, the microorganisms involved in biopolymer synthesis and their applications are presented in detail. This chapter also discusses the nutritional values of waste, process operation, and downstream steps involved in product recovery. The authors also highlight the benefits of waste valorization from the environmental and economic viewpoint via reducing the quantity of waste disposed and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The feasibility and clear picture of attaining circular economy through the eco-friendly approach of valorization of agro-industrial wastes is the original context of this chapter.
