Metric Options: Counts1 Year3 YearSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Data on Nanowires Discussed by Researchers at Harbin Institute of Technology (Synthesis and Densification of Boron Carbide Nanowires)
2023 AUG 17 (NewsRx) -- By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Nanotech Daily -- Investigators publish new report on Nanotechnology - Nanowires. According to
Article Description
One-dimensional materials have been proven to be an effective reinforcement for manufacturing high-toughness materials, but remain a great challenge in the field of B 4 C ceramics. In this study, B 4 C nanowires were synthesized and used for the preparation of B 4 C ceramics. The growth mechanism of the nanowires was proposed to be vapor-solid (VS) mechanism, where NaCl serves as an evaporator, porous carbon acts as a carbon source, and amorphous boron acts as a boron source. The B 4 C ceramics sintered at 1850 °C exhibit exceptional toughness, reaching a value of 7.13 MPa m 1/2. The pull-out and bridging mechanisms play a dominant role in enhancing the toughness of the B 4 C ceramics. This study presents a novel approach to the synthesis of nanowires and has important implications for the production of high-performance B 4 C ceramics.
