Metric Options: CountsSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Article Description
A bulk modification method is developed in this paper to achieve a new nanoparticle-reinforced silicone rubber composite with high strength and strong adhesion. Different from existing modification methods, an adhesion promoter is added in order to improve the adhesive property in addition to the surface modified silica nanoparticle. Furthermore, the adhesion promoter also exhibits an excellent compatibility with the silicone rubber. The tensile strength and shear adhesive strength of the new composite can reach up to 10.4 MPa and 90 kPa, respectively, both of which are much higher than their counterparts in the popular silicone rubber product Sylgard184. Moreover, the strong adhesion performance of the composite exhibits a good stability in either several-hour use or many attachment/detachment cycles. The present composite shows apparent advantages over existing silicone rubber products in not only the direct use as an adhesive material, but also potential applications for manufacturing advanced adhesive devices such as wearable electronics.
