Article Description

Bursa formation in association with osteochondroma is a rare but well known complication. The ventral surface of scapula is one of the rare sites of origin of osteochondroma, but ventral surface of scapula is the most common site of origin of bursa in association with osteochondroma. We report a case of bursa associated with osteochondroma of ventral surface of scapula in a 20-year-old man who has presented with swelling in upper back on left side and grating sensation during the movements of left shoulder.
