Article Description
Les cestodes sont des vers plats hermaphrodites qui parasitent l’homme au stade adulte. Les formes larvaires peuvent infecter l’homme qui est souvent un hôte intermédiaire accidentel. Les cestodoses larvaires sont représentées par les infections par les larves Spirometra à l’origine de la sparganose, par la larve de T. solium à l’origine de la cysticercose, par la larve de T. multiceps à l’origine de la cénurose, et des larves d’ E. granulosus et E. multilocularis, respectivement à l’origine de l’hydatidose et de l’échinococcose alvéolaire. Dans cette revue sont détaillés l’épidémiologie, le cycle biologique, les manifestations cliniques et les principes thérapeutiques de chaque affection.
