Article Description

We have recently developed a thrombin-free fibrin-coated vascular prosthesis that has a high performance rate in producing graft antithrombogenicity. We hypothesized that autologous, compared with xenologous, fibrin coatings could improve the antithrombogenicity of grafts by reducing immunologic response.
