Metric Options: CountsSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Article Description
In this work, heterogeneous functionally graded material (FGM) with SS316LSi and ER70S-6 is deposited using twin wire arc additive manufacturing technique. Tribological, mechanical and microstructural characterization were undertaken for the developed FGM structure. Microstructural analysis revealed acicular ferrite and bainite regions near molten pool boundaries, with "lathy ferrite" formations during solidification. Developed FGM structure exhibited appreciable mechanical strength with an average yield strength of 440±6 MPa, ultimate tensile strength of 714±13 MPa, and 43%±1.23 elongation. Worn surfaces revealed an adhesive wear mechanism. Gradation in wear rate and average coefficient of friction, measured as 9.98 × 10 −4 mm 3 /N-m and 0.46–0.51, respectively, was observed in the final deposited structure with intermediate values between SS316LSi and ER70S-6. Results reveal that as-deposited FGM exhibits superior wear resistance and mechanical performance compared to SS316LSi and ER70S-6.
