Metric Options: CountsSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Article Description
The concept of sustainable development (SD) created by the UN is an internationally recognized development vector of society and economy, which provides for a harmonized solution to a set of problems in the interests of present and future generations. The implementation of the SD provisions should take into account local characteristics and traditions. In this regard, the Arctic region is characterized by the following significant features: a) economic: the predominant development of extractive industries, the underdevelopment of transport and logistics infrastructure and the increased level of costs for its operation, as well as technological problems caused by severe natural and climatic conditions; b) environmental: the uniqueness and high vulnerability of the habitat; c) social: the necessity to preserve the authentic lifestyle of Indigenous Peoples of the North (IPN). The current SD challenges in the Arctic are the rapid development of transport as a way to connect the cities in the North, and a special approach to the professional training of workers as the only force for implementing the SD concept. To solve these problems, the article proposes measures for the sustainable functioning of the least reliable road and other local transport in the Arctic region and offers recommendations for professional training in the northern regions, taking into account environmental and multicultural approaches focused on the local conditions and traditions of IPN in the Arctic.
