Article Description

To investigate the characteristic differences between disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) found in surgical sepsis (septic DIC) and those found in patients with advanced gastrointestinal cancer (cancer DIC), we focused on two substances, endotoxin and platelet-activating factor (PAF).
