Article Description
New, neutral octanuclearmacrocyclic compound NiFc was achieved via self-assembly from Ni(BF) and a ferrocene-containing bis-tridentate ligand. The compound exhibits a channeled structure with cavities inside and senses the Mg electrochemically in the solid state.
