Metric Options: Counts1 Year3 YearSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Article Description
Hematite nanocubes with a broad size distribution have been synthesized by the decomposition of an iron-oleate complex under hydrothermal conditions, which was prepared from the reaction of iron chloride and sodium oleate. Well-defined assembly of uniform nanocubes with an average size of 15 nm can be obtained after a simple size-selection process. The molar ratio of iron chloride to sodium oleate and hydrothermal temperature had a crucial influence on the morphology of hematite nanopaticles in the synthesis. The blocking temperature of hematite nanocubes was ca. 80 K with an external field of 100 Oe, and they were superparamagnetic at room temperature. A-cyclohexane-dispersed colloidal solution of hematite nanocubes showed a strong shape-dependent adsorption peak at 230 nm in the UV - vis spectrum. This synthesis approach is expected to become a general method for the preparation of other uniform nanoparticles with unique shapes such as cobalt and nickel oxides and so on. © 2007 American Chemical Society.
