Article Description
Hydroalkoxymethylation of electron-deficient alkenes using alkoxymethyltrifluoroborates by photoredox catalysis has been developed. Highly reactive alkoxymethyl radicals can be easily generated from oxidation of alkoxymethyltrifluoroborates via a visible-light-induced SET process. © 2013 The Royal Society of Chemistry.
