Article Description

A novel LED-driven aerobic C-H oxidation is reported via MOF catalysis, eliminating the need for metal sources, additives, or oxidants. This approach also works well with aerobic oxygenation of C-H bonds and C-C cleavage/oxygenation of both alkenes and alkynes all at room temperature. Polyaromatic hydrocarbons were also successfully oxidized under these conditions indicating a broad, extendable scope.
