Metric Options: Counts1 Year3 YearSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Article Description
Purpose Addiction self-help is an important but under-researched component of the addiction treatment system. Digital self-help services, which gained importance during the COVID-19 pandemic, have also hardly been researched. The aim of this study was to investigate the impact and acceptance of digitalization processes in addiction self-help against the background of the pandemic. Methods Based on research findings and theoretical considerations, an online questionnaire was constructed to collect the assessments of affected persons and relatives from addiction-related self-help groups. Results The majority of respondents indicated that digital self-help services are widely accepted among younger people and improve access to self-help for people who have limited mobility or live in rural areas. However, according to the respondents, digital alternatives cannot fully replace face-to-face self-help meetings. The respondents from outpatient self-help groups also felt that insufficient funding is available for digitalization and that many affected persons and relatives with a lack of technical requirements or computer skills are excluded from digital offerings. Conclusion The results show that digital self-help services can be used to complement outpatient services in order to attract younger members and reach groups of people who are less easily reached by outpatient services alone. For those affected and their relatives with a lack of technical prerequisites or inadequate computer experience, the provision of digital devices and support in using the devices appears to be effective. The results also show that needs-based funding for digitalization measures in self-help is necessary.
