Article Description

A fast recovery probe circuit, which involves an active damping unit, is proposed in this paper. Because of its simplicity and high efficiency in converting radio-frequency power into an oscillating magnetic field, the suggested probe configuration is suitable for operation at low frequency (below 10 MHz), such as N nuclear quadrupole resonance where the ringing of a conventional probe usually lasts quite long. © 1996 American Institute of Physics.
