Article Description

An organic light-emitting diode (OLED) was developed based on a spin-coated monolayer of poly(2-methyoxy-5-ethyloxy)-4-di-(2′-methyoxy-5′- octaoxy)-phenylenevinylene doped with (3,4-dimethoxybenzyldehyde-2′- hydroxy naphthylimine)dimethyl gallium. The photoluminescence, electroluminescence, relative emission intensity, and absorption spectra of the samples were measured using a fluorescence spectraphotometer. The results of the analysis on the influence of the applied voltage and current density on the emission intensity of the blend samples are presented.
