Article Description

In this study, Wertheim's methods were used to account for the solvation of a particle or alternatively the dimerization of two particles. For this purpose, a binary mixture of a and b particles that interact as hard spheres, and experience a short range, strong anisotropic attractive a, b interaction was considered. Results of this study not only comply with all the usual dictates of the Percus-Yevick (PY) approximation, but also satisfy symmetries derived from the exchange of particle labels.
