Article Description

The evidence of phase separation in LaSrMnO was provided using electron spin resonance, x-ray diffraction, magnetic force microscopy and magnetic and transport measurements. The results showed that at low temperature, the ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic phase coexisted. It was inferred that the phase separation is an electroneutral type resulting from a nonuniform distribution of oxygen vacancies, as opposed to charge segregation.
