Conference Paper Description

The study includes the thyroid gland and its hormones on subjects of both sexes with ages ranging between 20-60 years old. The study comprises 45(27 male+18 femal) blood samples for patients with thyroid disorders and its hormones T3, T4 with 50 (31 male +19 femal) healthy blood samples without gland disorders and its hormones of kidney function. In addition, the concentrations of urea and creatinine in the blood serum of patients with thyroid disorders and its hormones are evaluated compared to healthy subjects. It was found that effect of T3, T4 and TSH hormones on the kidney function concerning urea and creatinine, and that any disturbance in the gland and its hormones leads to a defect in the functioning of the kidney. This has given significant differences at a significant level P < 0.05. Thyroid concentration levels reached (3.0125±1.734)μlu/ml for the healthy compared to those with thyroid disorder (6.377±4.896)μIU/ml, and the thyroid hormone T3 for the patients (2.1811±0.667) ng/ml and the healthy (1.0127±0.452) ng/ml.The value of thyroxin hormone T4 in the patients reached (11.812 ± 3.111) μg/dl compared to the healthy subjects with(6.514 ±1.307) μg/dl, and the concentration of urea in the healthy subjects reached (10.3±0.543) mg/dl compared to the patients with(34.129±5.847) mg/dl. The concentration of creatine reached (1.55±1.3) mg/dI in the healthy subjects, compared to patients with (0.835±0.202) mg/dI.
