Metric Options: CountsSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Review Description
The statics and dynamics of the incommensurate crystals BaNaNbO, BaMnF and RbH(SeO) are discussed. In BaNaNbO spectroscopic evidence for an unexpected high-speed diffusion process near T is presented; the diffusion constant is 1.3 k 0.2 cm/s and is 65 times the known thermal diffusivity. It is tentatively assigned to diffusion of discommensurations. In RbH(SeO) and BaMnF the asymmetry of sound velocities V with respect to interchange of Subscripts is shown to arise not from spatial dispersion, as proposed by Dvorak and Esayan, but from antisymmetric contributions to the stress tensor due to local rotations; the explanation hypothesized is similar to that of Nelson and Lax for the photoelastic tensor, only for the special case of crystals having screw axes. Large thermal hysteresis in BaMnF within the IC phase follows the pattern observed initially in other incommensurates by Hamano et al. The high- and low-temperature endpoints of the IC phase in BaMnF satisfy one possible trajectory in phase space from the extended Ising model theory of Yamada and Hamaya: 2a*/5 tq,, t 5a*/13. Optical activity and monoclinic distortion angle in BaMnF fail to satisfy intrinsic theories, and both thermal expansion and the presence of “nearly commensurate” phases also seem compatible with defect models. © 1986, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
