Review Description
Drugs have been associated with the development of thrombocytopenia, thrombotic thrombocytopenia purpura-haemolytic-uraemic syndrome, haemolytic anaemia, and agranulocytosis caused by direct dose-related toxicity and by immune-mediated mechanisms. This article will review the drugs associated with these blood dyscrasias, describe the presumptive mechanisms, and discuss treatment options. © 2001 Lippincott Williams & Wilkins.
