Article Description

Subcutaneous metastases are rare in prostate cancer. Herein, we present a case of a 66-year-old man with prostate cancer, who underwent Ga-labeled DOTA-ibandronic acid (Ga-DOTA-IBA) PET/CT to explore the possibility of Lu-DOTA-IBA treatment. Ga-DOTA-IBA PET/CT demonstrated intensely increased uptake in the multiple osteoblastic bone metastases. Unexpectedly, Ga-DOTA-IBA uptake in multiple subcutaneous metastases was also noted.
