Metric Options: CountsSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Article Description
A novel anaerobic succinate-producing bacterium, strain ZWB, was isolated from sludge collected from a biogas desulfurization bioreactor (Eerbeek, the Netherlands). Cells were non-spore-forming, motile, slightly curved rods (0.4-0.5 μm in diameter and 2-3 μm in length), and stained Gram-negative. The temperature range for growth was 25-40 °C, with an optimum at 37 °C. The pH range for growth was 7.0-9.0, with an optimum at pH 7.5. Strain ZWB was able to ferment glycerol and several carbohydrates mainly to H, succinate and acetate. Sulfur and fumarate could be used as electron acceptors by strain ZWB. The G+C content of the genomic DNA was 37.6 mol%. The most abundant fatty acids were iso-C and iso-C DMA. On the basis of 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity, strain ZWB belongs to the family Ruminococcaceae and it is distantly related to Saccharofermentans acetigenes JCM 14006 (92.1 %). Based on the physiological features and phylogenetic analysis, strain ZWB represents a novel species of a new genus, for which the name Ercella succinigenes gen. nov., sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain of Ercella succinigenes is ZWB (= DSM 27333 = JCM 19283). © 2014 IUMS.
