Metric Options: CountsSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Article Description
A marine bacterial strain, FR1064, was isolated from a surface seawater sample collected off Jeju Island, South Korea. Phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequences indicated that the isolate belonged to the Gammaproteobacteria and was related to the genus Glaciecola with 97.6% sequence similarity to Glaciecola pallidula, its nearest phylogenetic neighbour. DNA-DNA relatedness between strain FR1064 and G. paffidula ACAM 615 was 55%. Cells of the novel isolate were Gram-negative, aerobic, rod-shaped, motile and halophilic, with an optimum sea salts concentration of 4-7%. The major fatty acids were straight-chain saturated (C), summed feature 3 and monounsaturated fatty acid C. The DNA G + C content was 44 mol%. Several phenotypic characteristics differentiated the novel isolate from all previously described members of the genus Glaciecola. The polyphasic data obtained in this study clearly demonstrate that strain FR1064 represents a novel species of the genus Glaciecola. The name Glaciecola nitratireducens sp. nov. is therefore proposed, with strain FR1064 (=KCTC 12276=JCM 12485) as the type strain. © 2006 IUMS.
