Metric Options: Counts1 Year3 YearSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Article Description
A method for calculation and analysis of the contribution of changes in translational, rotational, and vibrational degrees of freedom to the energy of complex formation of aromatic compounds with DNA duplex has been developed. The results of calculations of the thermodynamic parameters (ΔG, ΔH, ΔS) indicate that changes in the translational and rotational degrees of freedom destabilize, and changes in the vibrational degree of freedom stabilize the complexes, the energy contribution from the movements under consideration being predominantly of entropic character. It is shown that the energy components of changes in translational, rotational, and vibrational degrees of freedom are in the main comparable with the experimentally determined thermodynamic parameters, which requires consideration of these components in the energy analysis of complex formation of aromatic molecules with DNA. It has been found that the total contribution of changes in translational, rotational, and vibrational degrees of freedom to the Gibbs energy of complexing of aromatic molecules with DNA can be assumed to be on the average the same for different ligands and equal to 8.2 kcal/mol. © Pleiades Publishing, Inc., 2009.
