Article Description

Oblique propagation of light through a layer of a gyrotropic crystal in an ultrasonic field in the presence of an external static magnetic field is analyzed. The problem is solved using the Ambartsumyan method of addition of layers. The results of analysis of dependences of amplitude and polarization characteristics on the wavelength of light are presented for various values of parameters of the problem. The possibility of applying such systems is discussed. © 2009 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.
