Article Description

To facilitate the design of high-T sintered superconductor pipe lenses (Supertrons), we suggest a so-called Supertron number Su which is numerically found to be a similarity number. The Supertron number Su is computed as a function of the accelerating voltage U of charged particles travelling through the Supertron. Using this dependence Su(U), the focal length of Supertrons having given dimensions can be estimated.
