Article Description

Comment on Chen et al, page Coagulation predominantly occurs at the surface of cells, yet our anticoagulants mostly are directed at fluid-phase proteins. Experiments in transgene mice published in this issue of Blood demonstrate that surface-targeted anticoagulation may indeed provide a potent antithrombotic effect.
