Metric Options: CountsSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Article Description
Pr/Yb co-doped fluoroindate (InF) glasses were prepared by using a traditional melt-quenching method in dry N atmosphere. Pumped by a 976 or 1570 nm laser diode, efficient emissions at ∼4 µm were obtained from the Pr/Yb co-doped glasses, which could be ascribed to the transition F → H of Pr ions. The relative stimulated emission cross section was calculated to be ∼1.44 × 10 m at 4 µm, which was ∼4.2 times larger than that of transition Ho: I → I (3.4 × 10 m). In addition, combined with transitions G → F and G → F of Pr ions, ultra-broadband emission ranging from 2.7 to 4.2 µm was also obtained. Our results indicate that Pr/Yb: InF glasses could be used to develop efficient ∼4 µm lasers and widely tunable mid-infrared lasers.
