If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.
Citation Benchmarking is provided by Scopus and SciVal and is different from the metrics context provided by PlumX Metrics.

Article Description
Resumen Este trabajo demuestra que, a pesar de los esfuerzos de Inglaterra para eliminar la trata de esclavos, los intereses de las élites esclavistas de América promovieron las vías para que, de manera clandestina, continuaran entrando determinadas cantidades de esclavos, en especial a Estados Unidos, Brasil y Cuba. En los territorios africanos también funcionaron mecanismos para burlar las prohibiciones, toda vez que la economía de los enclaves coloniales allí existentes, en especial en el Reino del Kongo y Angola, era aún dependiente del comercio de personas, y resultaba difícil reorientarla rápidamente hacia otras actividades. Lo mismo puede decirse de las poblaciones africanas de esas regiones, igualmente especializadas en esta inhumana actividad, de la cual dependían. Estos factores conspiraron contra una rápida extinción de la trata y se estudian en este artículo a través de una colección de documentos publicada en Angola. Se aplicaron métodos de análisis bibliográfico y documental.
