Article Description
Resumo: A utilização de jogos didáticos tipo “Bean Bag Genetics” é descrita para o ensino da teoria evolutiva em turmas de graduação de uma universidade pública brasileira. Esses jogos estão em sintonia com as propostas de ensino baseadas em metodologias ativas, nas quais os alunos fazem perguntas e testam previsões por meio da produção de dados e sua discussão. Os resultados indicaram boa receptividade dos jogos. Com relação à aprendizagem, os jogos contribuíram para superação de problemas ligados aos aspectos matemáticos da genética de populações, reformulação de concepções prévias, bem como para a concretização de aspectos abstratos relacionados à teoria evolutiva. Dessa forma, foi possível concluir que esses jogos podem se constituir em mais uma alternativa para o ensino de evolução.
