Article Description
El papel de la mujer en la literatura libertina del Siglo de las Luces en Francia es relevante desde múltiples perspectivas. Desde la visión de la naturaleza del cuerpo femenino hasta la imagen de la mujer que lee y escribe, la filosofía estética del Siglo XVIII muestra un interés en cómo representar a la mujer. Podría decirse que las novelas libertinas abren un panorama certero para responder esta pregunta ya que su diseño combina la imagen y el texto, lo cual aporta dos perspectivas efectivas a la hora de poder saber más sobre la femineidad ilustrada, teniendo en cuenta este último concepto desde la perspectiva de la imagen y de la época en la que se lleva a cabo. Este texto intenta mostrar, a partir de las imágenes de representaciones femeninas en las novelas libertinas, cómo se concibe el cuerpo femenino y cuál es su aporte al pensamiento ilustrado. Finalmente, intenta identificar a las protagonistas de un pensamiento dirigido hacia el conocimiento del mundo a partir de la experiencia y el contacto con la propia naturaleza
