Metric Options: Counts1 Year3 YearSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Article Description
Bombyx mori Densonucleosis (BmDV), Infectious flacherie (BmIFV) and nuclear polyhedrosis (BmNPV) virus infections in silkworms causes major crop losses in India. Defense related genes against these three viruses still remain unclear at the transcriptomic level in silkworms. PAM117 (virus-tolerant bivoltine silkworm strain) was reared and inoculated individually with BmDV, BmIFV and BmNPV immediately after second moult. The midgut samples of 3rd day Vth instar silkworm larvae were dissected and RNA was extracted. Transcriptome sequencing was performed on Illumina NovaSeq 6000 sequencer. Differential expression gene analysis indicated that 3624 genes were up-regulated and 3187 genes down-regulated for BmDV, whereas 1488 genes were up-regulated and 948 genes down-regulated for BmIFV and 2320 genes were up-regulated and 526 genes down-regulated for BmNPV inoculated samples. BGIBMGA004285, BGIBMGA004399, BGIBMGA013803 and BGIBMGA002739 genes had strong positive correlation with the qPCR and transcriptome data. These results further add to the existing information on the understanding of enhanced virus tolerance in silkworms.
