Article Description

In June 2021, the euthanasia law comes into force in Spain. It is a complex issue, with numerous implications, so its regulation is not easy at all. This work is not intended to offer an exhaustive analysis of the law, but to analyze the most relevant elements, either because of their correctness, or because they understand that they have been incorrectly regulated. The article revolves around two main ideas. On the one hand, the adequacy of the existence of the law and that it has been based on personal freedom and autonomy, and on the other, the criticism regarding considering euthanasia as a right and the limitation regarding the assumptions of done.
