Article Description
This study is an approach to the Mexican writer Alana Gómez Gray’s narrative works through biographical and bibliographical author’s data, presentation of her first two books—Larva de serafín (1999) and La Fortaleza (2005), Efraín Huerta National Prize—and an introduction to her third work, Relámpago de asombro (2022), published in Spain. Hers is an original imagination writing forged in the dominant form of the story that imposes on its reading a suspension of the specular keys of reality. In addition, her keen stories show a careful style and elaborated endings.
