Article Description

An X-ray dynamical diffraction analogue of Fourier-holography is proposed and theoretically investigated. It is shown that under definite conditions the recorded interference pattern of symmetrical two-wave Laue diffraction at the output surface of the crystal is an X-ray diffraction Fourier-hologram of the object under investigation. The reconstruction is performed either by means of visible light or the numerical methods. As an example the recording of the hologram of amplitude cosine grating and reconstruction by means of visible light is considered. This method may be experimentally realized using synchrotron sources of X-rays and may be employed in X-ray microscopy.
