Article Description
Introduction. The Multiple Sclerosis is a chronic illness of inflammatory and degenerative character, that affects young adults, preferential women. Its clinical manifestations occur according demyelinated areas, being the fatigue the main symptom related for the patients. The fatigue consists of constant exhaustion that happens in some illnesses of the central nervous system, in the Multiple Sclerosis takes the incapacities that intervene in the activities of daily life causing a negative impact in the Quality of Life. Objective. This bibliographical revision has the objective to relate the fatigue with the quality of life, being characterized them and describing its influences in these individuals. Conclusion. Fatigue is a disabling symptom that is directly related to Quality of Life, but there are other factors that may interfere in this aspect. To minimize these effects would be necessary to draw a profile of specific physical conditioning for that these patients can practice regular exercise.
