Article Description

Ecological and syntaxonomical characteristics and the diagnostic species of syntaxa described from Central Anatolian stepe vegetation were brought out in the present study. All of the Central Anatolian steppe communities belong to the Astragalo-Brometea Class and the Onobrychido armenae-Thymetalia leucostomi order and its two suborders. Some further details studies show that the status of the alliance Astragalo karamasici-Gypsophyllion eriocalycis which has been represented with three suballiances on the gypsaceous soils in vast part of Central Anatolia may be reviewed and recombined as a new order or suborder. © 2006 Asian Network for Scientific Information.
