Metric Options: Counts1 Year3 YearSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Article Description
The classical as well as noncommutative Korovkin-type theorems deal with the convergence of positive linear maps with respect to different modes of convergence, like norm or weak operator convergence etc. In this article, new versions of Korovkin-type theorems are proved using the notions of convergence induced by strong, weak and uniform eigenvalue clustering of matrix sequences with growing order. Such modes of convergence were originally considered for the special case of Toeplitz matrices and indeed the Korovkin-type approach, in the setting of preconditioning large linear systems with Toeplitz structure, is well known. Here we extend this finite-dimensional ap- proach to the infinite-dimensional context of operators acting on separable Hilbert spaces. The asymptotics of these preconditioners are evaluated and analyzed using the concept of completely positive maps. It is observed that any two limit points, under Kadison' BW-topology, of the same sequence of preconditioners are equal modulo compact opera- tors. Moreover, this indicates the role of preconditioners in the spectral approximation of bounded self-adjoint operators. © Instytut Matematyczny PAN, 2013.
