Metric Options: Counts1 Year3 YearSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Article Description
In this paper we contribute to the improvement of the initial teacher training processes with an empirical research on future teachers' training expectations of the general competences established in the Master's programme for the training of secondary teachers. 353 students from this Master's programme at the University of Córdoba were surveyed during two academic courses: 2009-2010 and 2010-2011. By using a Likert scale questionnaire we identified several sets of opinions, which could be considered as distinct subdomains within the initial thinking on the teaching competences. The first results indicate the existence of high expectations in most competences, although significant differences were also identified among the various sets. We also noted the existence of a main factor, which represents most of the variables in the set (basic general competences), as well as two secondary factors that included the rest (secondary competences).
