Article Description

Human rights violations such as forced or slave labor are perpetuated to the extent that States allow the product of these crimes to be commercialized and enter their markets. This paper analyses the progress made in the prohibition and criminalization of the commercialization of the proceeds of human rights violations, the ways in which it can be criminally repressed under current law, and various legislative proposals to improve its prosecution and homogenize it at the international level.
